cplogoBRENTWOOD — Tennessee Baptist Convention churches gave $2,828,179 through the Cooperative Program in September.

For the year-to-date, Tennessee Baptists have given $31,967,738 for missions and ministry causes in Tennessee and around the world.

The amount is $1,231,256 or 4 percent over the total given at the same time last year.

With only one month to go in the 2015-16 budget year, the amount received is $571,904 or 1.82 percent over current budget needs.

“On behalf of the Southern Baptist Convention and Tennessee Baptist Convention Cooperative Program-supported compassion, educational, and mission endeavors, I want to thank you Tennessee Baptists for your collective and consistent giving,” said Randy C. Davis, TBC executive director/treasurer.

“With one month remaining in our fiscal year, Great Commission financial support through the Cooperative Program could be the strongest that we have had in several years,” he said.
