FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Communications Team of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board won multiple awards during the 53rd annual Wilmer C. Fields Awards Competition sponsored by the Baptist Communicators Association.
The TBMB Communications Team received 13 awards, including the M.E. Dodd Memorial Award for radio, film, and video. Team members also captured five first place awards, two second place awards, and five third place awards.
“What’s exciting about the awards is that they are a recognition of the work our team does every day in support of our TBMB ministries and state missionaries,” said Chris Turner, director of communications.
“We’ve got some dedicated coworkers doing some great work in cooperation with some very missions-minded churches. It is truly an honor for us to tell those stories that are a direct result from Tennessee Baptists giving through the Cooperative Program and the Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions.”
