BRENTWOOD – In partnership with the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board (TBMB) and Appalachia Service Project (ASP), Brentwood Baptist Church has raised $275,000 to provide aid and relief to communities impacted by Hurricane Helene. This contribution will provide resources to rebuild 11 homes in Eastern Tennessee and North Carolina.
Over 1,500 families were impacted by the storm in September 2024, and over 500 homes were destroyed. TBMB committed to rebuilding 40 of these homes. Due to the faithfulness of generous givers at their annual Christmas programming, Brentwood Baptist was able to raise $275,000, which will provide resources to rebuild 11 of the 40 committed homes.
“I’ve loved seeing our church come together to provide resources for families in need,” said Jay Strother, Senior Pastor of Brentwood Baptist, “Through this partnership with the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board and Appalachia Service Project, we’re able to truly live out our mission to love and serve the whole person while sharing the gospel in Middle Tennessee and beyond.”
The funds raised will go directly toward the construction materials, labor, and logistical support needed to rebuild homes for families that have lost everything.
