JEFFERSON CITY — Carson-Newman University ranks among the top 50 best Christian colleges in the nation, according to College Atlas. The online site ranks colleges and universities based on information provided by schools, education professionals and students.
College Atlas ranked Carson-Newman 38th for campus schools and 34th for online schools among the nearly 900 schools on the 2018 College Atlas Best Christian Colleges ranking list.
“The breadth and depth of our offerings make it no surprise that Carson-Newman is highly ranked among Christian institutions across the nation,” said President J. Randall O’Brien. “We are always pleased to see our dedication to our students and our faith recognized by higher institution professionals.”
The rankings are determined by 21 data points related to three major categories: accessibility, affordability and academic quality, according College Atlas.
The ranking noted C-N’s tuition, enrollment, acceptance rate, and six-year graduation rate as among the university’s many strengths.
