TULLAHOMA — Duck River Baptist Association, based in Tullahoma, held its first annual Missions Day on May 18.
Duck River teams visited and ministered at a nursing home, staffed an evangelism tent at the High on the Hog festival, conducted door to door visitation distributing 800 evangelism packets and more.
“Like a lot of associations, we do well doing missions away from home,” observed Matt Ledbetter, director of missions.
“My goal is to flip the script and make our Jerusalem our number one missions priority. Although we have individual churches that are involved in their own mission projects, I wanted to have a day where many churches could make a difference on the same day,” he said.
Participating churches included First Baptist Church, Beechgrove; First Baptist Church, Cowan; Grace Baptist Church, Tullahoma; Iglesia Gracia, Tullahoma; Keith Springs Baptist Church, Belvidere; Victory Baptist Church, Manchester; and First Baptist Church, Winchester. B&R
