FAITH RIDERS TO SPONSOR ‘PRAYER RUMBLE’ IN MID-JUNE

Jerry Jeter, pastor of Pleasant View Baptist Church, Clarksville, is an active member of F.A.I.T.H. Riders, a national motorcycle ministry that is passionate about sharing Christ.

FRANKLIN — The Tennessee chapter of FAITH Riders will sponsor a “Prayer Rumble” from the western part of the state to the east on June 17-18.

“FAITH Riders of Tennessee will be praying across the state of Tennessee along with other riders and friends,” said Jerry Jeter, a member of the Tennessee chapter and pastor of Pleasant View Baptist Church, Clarksville.

“If there has ever been a time for urgency in spreading the gospel, this is it. This time of prayer across the state is to encourage churches to be active in the mission Jesus called us to,” he sai

Tennessee F.A.I.T.H. Riders gathered for a photo prior to a recent “prayer-ride” across the state.

The riders will leave from Hillcrest Baptist Church in Dyersburg on Friday, June 7, at  8 a.m. Other stops on Friday include First Baptist Church, Dyer, 9 a.m.; Eastview Baptist Church, Huntingdon, 10:20 a.m.; Grace Baptist Church, Camden, 11:20 a.m. and First Baptist Church, Waverly, 12:20 p.m (Lunch at FBC). Riders will proceed from Waverly to First Baptist Church, Dickson, 1:50 p.m., Shelby Avenue Baptist Church, Nashville, 3:30 p.m. and Rocky Valley Baptist Church, Lebanon, 5 p.m.

On Saturday, June 8, the riders will go to First Baptist Church, Gordonsville, 8 a.m., First Baptist Church, Sparta, 9:20 a.m., Memorial Baptist Church, Crossville, 10:10 a.m., Mossy Grove Baptist Church, Harriman, 12:40 p.m., Grassy Valley Baptist Church, Knoxville, 2:45 p.m., First Baptist Church, Dandridge,  4 p.m. and Crossroads Community Church, Newport, 5:30 p.m.

The FAITH Riders will pray at each location. For more information, call Jeter at 931-619-1140. B&R
