Robertson County Baptist Association, based in Springfield, bought $1,750 of equipment for its block party closet. The funds came from the Vacation Bible School consignment program of LifeWay Christian Resources, Nashville. To receive the funds, 16 of the association’s churches allowed the association to place their order for the curriculum within a two week period to receive 15 percent of total cost, reported Janice Bierod of the association.
Polk County Baptist Association, based in Benton, has recently partnered with two Georgia churches on ministry projects including the Appalachian Regional Ministry Christmas Backpack program and a snack pack ministry in schools, reported Ryan Potts, director of missions.
