FRANKLIN — Tennessee Baptist Convention churches gave $2,781,194 through the Cooperative Program in September.
For the year-to-date, Tennessee Baptists have given $32,112,867 through the Cooperative Program. The total is $25,891 or 0.1 percent over the amount given over the same time frame last year and $29,534 or 0.09 percent over current budget needs with one month left in the fiscal year, which ends Oct. 31.
“We are grateful for the generous and sacrificial giving by our Tennessee Baptist family of churches,” said Randy C. Davis, president and executive director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board.
“With one month to go in the 2021-22 fiscal year, I am confident our churches will meet the goal that has been set in order to meet Great Commission causes here in Tennessee and around the world,” he added.
“Tennessee Baptists have shown time and time again their willingness to give in order that the gospel of Jesus Christ is shared throughout our state and the world,” Davis said. B&R
