FRANKLIN — Tennessee Baptist Convention churches gave $3,175,567 through the Cooperative Program in June.
For the year-to-date (November 2020-June 2021), churches have given $23,503,981 through the Cooperative Program giving channel to fund missions and ministries in Tennessee and around the world.
The amount given after eight months of the current fiscal year is $613,548 or 2.7 percent above what was given during the same time frame last year and is $170,648 over current budget needs.
“Our Tennessee Baptist churches remain incredibly faithful in their financial support of Great Commission work across Tennessee, North America and around the world,” said Randy C. Davis, president and executive director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board.
“We continue to be overwhelmed by the generosity of Tennessee Baptists and their desire to make the gospel known here and abroad,” Davis added. B&R
