FRANKLIN — Tennessee Baptist Convention churches gave $2,519,808 through the Cooperative Program in December.
For the year-to-date, Tennessee Baptists have given $5,433,698 through the Cooperative Program giving channel which funds missions and ministry in Tennessee, the nation and around the world.
After two months of the 2023-24 fiscal year, gifts from TBC churches are $399,636 or 6.85 percent below budget needs.
“Just two months into our fiscal year, it is very difficult to ascertain exactly where we are as far as budget giving,” said Randy C. Davis, president and executive director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board. “While behind budget expectations, we are still tracking nearly the same as last year at this time.
“We will have a much clearer picture at the end of January, which concludes the first quarter of our physical year,” Davis added. B&R
