FRANKLIN — Tennessee Baptists gave $2,683,061 through the Cooperative Program in February.
After four months of the current fiscal year, Cooperative Program gifts total $11,864,790. Receipts are $33,879 or 0.3 percent what was given at the same time last year, but the amount is $364,790 or 3.17 percent above budget needs.
Randy C. Davis, president and executive director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board, is grateful for the commitment of Tennessee Baptists who are willing to give of their financial resources.
“Month after month and year after year Tennessee Baptist churches financially support Great Commission missions and ministry work employing an Acts 1:8 strategy: from their home town and state to the ends of the earth,” Davis observed.
“Thank you for giving consistently and generously through the Cooperative Program,” he said.
