Mike Young
Zion Baptist Church, Brownsville, recently called Mike Young as pastor. He is a graduate of Liberty University, Lynchburg, Va., and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, Cordova. He has served on staffs of different West Tennessee Baptist churches for 16 years. He is the Tennessee coordinator for Evangelism Explosion International. He and his wife, Kathy, have four children.
Mount Olive Baptist Church, Somerville, recently called Mickey Cossar as pastor.
DEATHS
William “Billy” Ashley Howell, 56, died March 5. He was pastor of First Baptist Church, Normandy. A native of North Carolina, he is survived by his wife, Patty, and three daughters.
