Ronnie Wilburn
JACKSON — Long-time Tennessee Baptist pastor Ronnie Joseph Wilburn Sr. died Sept 17 at his home after an extended illness.
Wilburn served as pastor of churches in Mississippi, Kentucky, and Tennessee. His last pastorate was Meridian Baptist Church in Jackson where he served for more than 20 years. He remained as pastor emeritus until his death. Wilburn also served as as a director of missions in Shelby County, was a past president of the Tennessee Baptist Convention, and served on various boards of the TBC.
Wilburn is survived by his wife Barbara, three children, and several grandchildren.
