FRANKLIN — Tennessee Baptist Convention churches gave $2,429,074 through the Cooperative Program in September.
For the year-to-date, Tennessee Baptists have given $31,496,630 through the Cooperative Program.
The total is $15,166 over the amount given during the same time frame last year, basically no percentage increase.
With one month remaining in the fiscal year, CP gifts are $128,370 or 0.41 percent below the 2018-19 budget goal.
“We remain confident that Tennessee Baptists will rise to the challenge and provide the funds needed to meet this year’s budget goal,” said Randy C. Davis, president and executive director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board.
By meeting the budget, Tennessee Baptists can be assured that Great Commission ministry and missions needs in our state and around the world will be met,” Davis added.
