Baptist and Reflector
FRANKLIN — The annual Baptist and Reflector Day emphasis will be observed on Sunday, Aug. 29, in churches across Tennessee.
The annual emphasis is a reminder for Tennessee Baptists of the resources available through the Baptist and Reflector, said editor Lonnie Wilkey.
“The Baptist and Reflector not only provides news and feature stories about Tennessee Baptists but it also provides columns and articles to assist Tennessee Baptists in reaching the communities they serve with the gospel of Jesus Christ,” Wilkey said.
The B&R, established in 1835, is one of the oldest, continuously published newspapers in the nation.
The Aug. 25 issue of the paper will be provided at no cost to churches to promote the Baptist and Reflector.
“We want to introduce the paper to people who have not received it in a long time and also to new church members who are not familiar with the B&R,” Wilkey said.
