Southern Baptist Convention President Steve Gaines, pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church, Cordova, spoke to his fellow Tennessee Baptists on Monday night, June 11, prior to the start of the SBC annual meeting on June 12 in Dallas, Texas.
Gaines spoke during a dessert fellowship sponsored by the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board. After brief comments, Tennessee Baptists gathered to pray for Gaines as he will preside over the annual meeting which will end on June 13.
