CROSSVILLE — New Tennessee Woman’s Missionary Union president Yolanda Heuser shared her goals and vision for WMU as she begins her term of leadership.
• “My number one goal is to show that WMU has a vital role in our churches and that missions education and missions work is vital in the upcoming generations,” she said.
• “I also desire to help people understand missions work is for all ages.” Children are vital in the role of missions and so are the middle aged and the elderly. If you can talk, walk, sit or pray then there is a place in missions for you. Age is not a deterrent,” Heuser stressed. [Read more…]
